Accessibility Statement

Nexvanta Universal Private Limited is committed to making the Nexvanta Auctions website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technologies. This statement applies to this public website. Separate statements cover the portal and the mobile apps.

Conformance status

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and to the accessibility requirements of the Guidelines for Indian Government Websites (GIGW 3.0). We consider it partially conformant: most content conforms fully, and the limitations we know about are listed below.

Accessibility features

  • A “Skip to main content” link is the first item on every page.
  • Text size controls (A-, A, A+) scale all text up to 137.5%, and the layout stays usable at 200% browser zoom.
  • A high-contrast mode (yellow and white on black) is available from the toolbar.
  • Content is available in English and Hindi, and the page language is declared for screen readers.
  • Pages use consistent navigation, one main heading, and landmark regions (header, navigation, main, footer).
  • Every function works with a keyboard alone, and the keyboard focus is always clearly visible.
  • Forms have visible labels and hints, clear error messages linked to their fields, and an error summary.
  • Text meets a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
  • Animations are switched off if your system asks for reduced motion.
  • The layout reflows to a single column at 320 CSS pixels wide, without horizontal scrolling.
  • Before you leave for an external website, a dialog warns you.

Known limitations

  • Auction photographs: Dealers upload these photographs. Each listing has a text title and description, but individual photographs may lack detailed descriptions. The photographs are treated as decorative in listing cards.
  • Full policy text in Hindi: on the Hindi site, policy pages give a Hindi summary, while the full authoritative text is in English (marked as English for screen readers). We are working on complete translations.
  • Live prices: prices on this public website refresh every 30 seconds. For real-time updates with screen reader announcements, please use the portal.
  • Saved preferences: if your browser blocks local storage, your text size and contrast choices apply only to the current page.
